Discount Codes

The discount section of your store allows you to create discount codes that allow customers to get a percentage or flat amount off of their order.

For example, you could set up the discount code SUMMERSALE to allow customers to receive 10% or $5 off of their order.

Add a New Discount Code

Name: The name of the discount in your store. This is for your records only, the customer will need to know the "Code" to get the discount

Code: The actual code the customer will use to receive the discount. In the above example, the code would be "SUMMERSALE"

Type: The type of discount code you want to create. You will be able to add more details on the next screen. See below for information on the different types

 

 

Edit Existing Discount

To edit an existing discount, click on the icon next to the discount you want to edit.

You can also make any discount inactive or delete it entirely.

 

Name: The name of the discount in your store. This is for your records only, the customer will need to know the "Code" to get the discount

Code: The actual code the customer will use to receive the discount. In the above example, the code would be "SUMMERSALE"

Type: The type of discount code you want to create. You will be able to add more details on the next screen. See below for information on the different types

Expiration Date: The date the coupon code will expire

Max Number of Uses: The maximum number of time the code can be used.

 

Flat Rate

Flat Rate: The flat fee that will be subtracted from their order

Price Range: The range of prices this code will apply to.

 

Percentage

Percentage: The percent of the discount.

Price Range: The range of prices this code will apply to.

 

Free Shipping

Price Range: The range of prices this code will apply to.

 

Products

Discount Type: Choose which type of product discount to use.

Add Product: Start typing the product name to find the product you want to add to the list. Click the icon to add the product once you choose it.

Percentage: The percent of the discount.

Flat Rate: The flat fee that will be subtracted from their order

Remove Product: Remove product from the list by clicking on the icon next to the product you want to remove from the system.
