Skipjack Financial Services is an online payment gateway service that you pay a small monthly fee to use. Busy online stores usually require a payment gateway such as Skipjack to authorize credit card transactions in real-time. You will need your merchant ID handy from your credit card processor before you can create an Skipjack account. Setting it up:
Follow these instructions to configure your Store-Logic store to use Skipjack:
- Contact Skipjack Financial Services to create an account and obtain an API serial number.
- Go to Settings > Payments in Store-Logic.
- Click on the gear icon corresponding to Skipjack Financial Services
- Enter the serial number provided by Skipjack and click "Update API"
- Return to the Payments page and make the Skipjack Financial Services Gateway active.
